Meyrin Basket - Switzerland - 2026

After two and a half years in the United States, Kyanu Simeone is back in Switzerland and returns to Meyrin Basket, competing in the Swiss National League B (LNB).

During his time in the U.S., Kyanu gained valuable experience in the American basketball system, combining prep school basketball with college competition, while adapting to a faster pace, physical play, and a high level of tactical discipline. This journey helped him mature both on and off the court, strengthening his shooting consistency, game vision, defensive awareness, and overall basketball IQ.

Now back in Geneva, Kyanu joins Meyrin Basket with a clear objective:
play at a high national level, regain rhythm and confidence, and continue his development in a competitive environment.

Competing in LNB allows him to:

  • face experienced senior players,

  • take on real on-court responsibilities,

  • showcase his skill set in structured competition,

  • and prepare for the next step of his international basketball career.

This return is not a step back, but a strategic reset — combining American experience with European fundamentals — as Kyanu continues to build toward his long-term goal of competing at a high level internationally.
